Certain items go on sale about every 6 weeks. You always see a lot of BBQ items go on sale during the summer. Here's what to stock up on in September!

Did you know that certain items go on sale about every 6 weeks or so and around certain times of the year? For example, you always see a lot of BBQ and grilling items go on sale during the summer.

If you wait for these sales cycles you can get items really cheap to add to your stockpile! The trick is to get enough items to last you until the next sales cycle.

Here is what you should be able to stock up on this month:

September:

  • Diabetes Awareness: vitamins, scales, diabetic care (socks, sugar-free products, test strips) glucose meters, Glucerna cereal and other diabetic friendly snacks
  • Seasonal Produce: pears, grapes, apples, tomatoes, tomatillos, peppers, onions, eggplant, cucumbers, beans, artichokes
  • Clearance: bug spray, gardening supplies, fans and air conditioners, camping gear, BBQ supplies, charcoal, lighters, grills
  • Back to School Supplies: crayons, pens, pencils,  notebooks, folders, binders, backpacks, erasers, markers, index cards, dividers etc.
  • Labor Day Sales: movie theater deals (ticket and concession deals and freebies), shoes and apparel store deals
