Easy & Cheap Easter Treat: Peeps Dirt Cup Parfaits
Here is a fun little Easter treat that you can make with the kiddos this year!
To make this recipe you will need:
chocolate pudding cups
chocolate graham crackers
green candy shred (Hobby Lobby)
First, you’ll want to grab one sleeve of graham crackers, approx 9 crackers. Place crackers inside of a Ziploc bag and crush them with a rolling pin, your hand etc. You could also use a food processor if you want your cracker crumbs to be extra fine.
Add your crushed graham crackers to a mixing bowl. Add ¼ tsp vanilla, 2 chocolate pudding cups and 4 tbsp of chocolate frosting. Mix together.
Spoon your mixture into your cups. Crush 2 more graham crackers and sprinkle mixture over your wet mixture. Add a spoonful of green candy shred to each parfait, top with Peeps and candy eggs. These dirt cup parfaits taste like brownies! Your kids will love them. Enjoy!
This would be the perfect treat to start a new Easter tradition with! I would also be a great treat to make for fun after Easter is over because you can get most of the ingredients on sale!
Even if you don’t normally celebrate Easter, you can still have fun making this treat because everyone loves sweet treats right?
