This store had everything we needed for our camping trip. One stop and I had everything on my list! Going back soon to get new fishing lures and rods. Huge selection to choose from in every department.

This store is great. It's one of the chain's smallest in size, so it generally doesn't have the selection that you'll find in the larger locations. For the wealth and disposable incomes of the residents in Hamilton County, Indiana, that was a big business mistake on their part. But it's always well maintained and stocked, and the employees are mostly friendly and engaging. They do a great job in seasonal marketing of their merchandising, and every deer season for example, I'll make a large purchase of something they've discounted and promoted well. Some have lamented the Bass Pro acquisition and subsequent changes in product lines'. specifically, now targeting quantity-driven, lower-end items compared to the often higher-end and sometimes boutique items offered for sale when Cabela's was still independent. It might be helpful to remind people that the acquisition by Bass Pro actually saved Cabela's. The Cabela family took their company public, and made some very poor choices in their expansion plans. They became the target of a viscous corporate raiding 'activist investor' group, and they would probably be just a memory had Bass Pro and Johnny Morris not bought the company.Back to the store'. I really enjoy shopping there, and think it's well run by nice folks. Outdoor businesses and people are a very nice reset from the nuttiness of today.

Great place with friendly staff. Prices are a little high, but they have a huge store to pay for and maintain and you get to look at and touch your purchases. Takes some of the guesswork out of a big purchase versus buying online.

Great place to spend a few hours. I was able to find the fishing rod I was looking for as they have tons of choices. All departments have ample choices to choose from. Everyone loves the animals and mountains. Only draw back is it's in Chicago land so it's not the best place for buying firearms and ammo due to the extra taxes.
